Impermax PUR Cat Additive

Impermax PU membranes may need a shorter than usual curing time when intended to apply in cold and dry environments.

PUR Cat Additive is a catalyst liquid formulation that can help to reduce the curing time, with no impairment of the Impermax final properties.

PUR Cat Additive reduces the curing time, allowing for an early skin development, reducing the risk of damage by rain, slope effects, etc.

It gives a dry product in few hours, with an also shortes tacking time.

It is not recommended to use PUR Cat Additive when temperatures rise above 25ºC or relative humidity is high (60% or more).

1kg of PUR Cat Additive will mix with a 25kg Impermax Pond Liner (mix ratio 1:25)

Mixing

Pour gently the PUR Cat Additive into the Impermax and mix with a low-speed stirring before use.

Wait some minutes before application and use the mixture following the guidelines of Impermax.

Addition of PUR Cat Additive has an effect on the viscosity and solids content of Impermax.

Please take this into account when calculating the amount and thickness of Impermax if a final coat of 1,5-2 mm minimum is to be obtained.
