Every Koi keeper at some stage will have to treat their Koi, and in this section you will see that we stock a wide variety of treatments to deal with any eventuality. Should it be a parasitic problem or a bacterial issue, we will have the right treatment for you.

When using treatments it is important to know the volume in gallons or litres of the pond you want to treat, and we always recommend testing the water prior to using any treatments.

As there isn’t a one fix all treatment we never recommend using a treatment or treating “willy nilly” so to speak, it is best to test the water to rule out any issue with that. Then if parasites are suspected to be the cause of the said issue, it is best to take a mucus sample and use a microscope to confirm which parasite is present, then the correct treatment can be used to eradicate them.

Always read the instructions on the bottle or box, prior to using the treatment. The instructions are there for a reason as certain temperatures are applicable, and or other parameters need to be met.
