- NSF 42 Certified for material integrity using FDA approved materials
- Wound technology offers great chemical compatibility and temperature resistance
- Prevents the development of microorganisms within a filtration system
- Precisely wound in a pattern that provides a large surface area
- Industry standard sizes with broad micron choices
Wound Polypropylene filter cartridges are commonly used due to the combination of resistance to high temperatures and ability to filter many industrial fluids with varying particle sizes. A string of polypropylene fibre is wound in a precise arrangement to increase surface area around a strong polypropylene core.
These cartridges are characterised by excellent sediment absorption of sand, silt, rust and suspended solids. This paired with the above attributes produce a filter cartridge with varying applications including municipal water, well water, reverse osmosis and heavier filtration within industry
