Welcome to The Oaks Koi Farm Koi Art Collection

We have lovingly designed and created a collection of very individual, and unique pieces of art.

Within the collection are a wide variety of Koi wall plaques, made from very durable materials, and even some very special bears.

I hear you say “Bears” yes “Bears”. This all stemmed from having a wooden bear commissioned holding a fish, we are going back many years ago now.

This bear made from a tree trunk was sitting pretty at the top of a small waterfall in our garden, unfortunately when we came to move house, he couldn’t be moved, as he had sadly rotted inside, and as soon as he was touched, he fell to pieces, in a pile of sawdust.

From that day on we wanted to create that similar look, but have a bear that would stand the test of time, and cope with our British weather.

So that is what we’ve done, created two different designed bears, one holding a fish, or Koi as we should say, and one holding a log, our Welcome Bear.

These bears are extremely unique and are hand made, and no two bears are ever the same. They as with some of our Koi plaques, are manufactured out of  fibreglass, and hand painted with acrylic paints, then sealed with a two pack lacquer, this means they are going to stand the test of time, and be a part of your life forever.

You will not find any of the products within this category anywhere, other than at The Oaks Koi Farm. We have designed and created these exclusive pieces of art.

The Bears themselves take 20 hours to make, all by hand. They can be purchased, and individually personalised to you requirements. The bear holding the Koi can have the Koi painted to match your favourite fish, or the welcome bear could have your house name, house number, or another message painted on the log.

The different works of art can be placed indoors, or outdoors, and will fit perfectly into a themed garden, or as decoration in you filter house, or round your pond.

They don’t require any maintenance, just a wipe over with a clean cloth, now and again, and they will serve you well, for many years.
